Washable

Our merino wool is washable. Throw them in the washing machine on gentle cycle, cold water and let them air dry. This will reinvigorate all the breathability characteristics Merino wool exhibits.

Breathable

One of Merino wool’s key characteristics is its breathability. Which also includes its ability to absorb moisture and release that moisture into the environment. This keeps you feeling cool and dry and less tired than a shoe made of plastic or leather that trap in moisture and heat.

Knitted

Wool has been used in footwear for many years, but mostly in a boiled or sheet stock format. When you spin wool into a superfine thread and digitally knit it, you promote strength, breathability and create a product that washes better, holds its intended shape and brings out all the natural benefits wool can provide.

Sustainable

Merino wool is a sustainable material created from the fibers of Merino Sheep bred in Australia. It can be washed sparsely, which saves energy and water. And at the end of its life, Merino wool is biodegradable.

Comfortable

All our sneakers (this does not include CAMDEN) feature removable footbeds made from a resilient material that maintains its cushion. Each footbed includes a layer of Merino wool for full coverage and comfort. Designed by an Australian orthopedic surgeon, our footbeds offer deep heel seats, arch support, and a metatarsal support bump for ultimate walking comfort.

Lightweight

Merino wool has an amazing strength to weight ration. It is over 6 times stronger than cotton and for its weight, is incredibly durable. Coupled with a air blown EVA outsole, our shoes are some of the lightest weight sneakers on the market. An average pair of our shoes weighs 28.8 oz. A key factor in the tiring of feet, is the actual weight of your shoes.

This design is so much nicer than the sportier wedge sole type the newer are. Very comfortable and look classy. These black ones replace an older blue pair. Please keep this model. Thank you!

Nice looking but no arch support

The nice looking, and I especially like the green color and the wool but they are quite flat on the bottom so I would have preferred some more arch support.

Shoe laces

I do like my shoes, but I find the shoe laces very confusing. If I tighten them up for a better fit, I then have these laces sticking out. And then they eventually loosen up. I find this aspect of the shoes unpleasant.

My favorite new sneakers

I bought these after I saw a friend wearing them and I love them so much!! I wear them with jeans and dresses. I can’t get over what a great addition they are to my wardrobe.

Not my favorite pair

These are fine, but not as wonderful as my Fraser II are. The insole is not as cushy or supportive. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot, and these help that only marginally where my Fraser II's completely alleviate the pain. These are cuter with their cable knit pattern, but I find that they attract dust and hair more. Also, generally speaking, I do not care for the lace system. I can never get them tied appropriately tight. New in the box they are too tight, whenever I try to re-do them they are too loose - no matter how many times I watch the video. I needed to switch to regular laces for this pair of shoes. I wear these on days when I do not have much walking or standing to do.

Cloud walking

These shoes are extremely comfortable. Can I use the word squishy? Like putting on a warm and cozy sweater, these shoes made my feet feel like they were surrounded by a soft cloud. And since they’re white - even better! The only downside, if you can call it that, is that they are too warm for days when the temps hit 90. I wore them for all day walking when I was on vacation and my feet felt good when I got back to the cottage. I now have two pairs of these remarkable shoes and I love them both.

Love the shoe just wish it didn’t hurt me

Love the breathability and material but the stitching on the back digs into my Achilles and cuts it up pretty bad. Which is weird because I purposely bought it larger. Must be a quality control issue because only my left shoe hurts me.

Super comfortable

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and didn't need any break-in time. I also really love the knit fabric design. Looking forward to adding more colors to my collection!

Love Them

My feet are nice and warm in my new shoes. The feel good while walking. Can’t wait to wear them more in nicer weather, because I got the white pair.

Soles were too thick and stiff. Size was too small. Could not get any response after multiple attempts to contact them about how to return them

My new favorite shoes!

My Woolloomooloo shoes are the most comfortable sneakers I've had. They are lightweight and supportive, and I can wear them all day without any soreness or fatigue. They are good for them gym, for long walks, they are breathable and washable - what else can I ask for from a shoe? I will order more as soon as mine are worn out.

My big toes are too close to the end. Will need to order up.

Be still my knitter's heart!

Cables are among my favorite knits, so combining merino and cables into a shoe? HAD to have them. The fact that they are completely comfortable for all day wear? These are my first, but will definitely not be my last Wooloomooloos!

For work I am on my feet a lot, and I wear orthotics. These shoes are light and cushioned so my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day.

Super cute & Comfortable

I love these Cooma shoes. I have them in every color! They look so cute with jeans, leggings, or a casual dress. I just wish they had a yellow/lemon color.

Not worth it

For $150 I would expect to get more than two years of wear. The knitting is coming apart on both shoes even though these have been very gently worn a few dozen times in two years. Notice the care guide on this listing is blank! When I reached out for customer support I heard nothing back so this will be my only purchase from this company.
